janine lesperanceJanine Lespérance is a lawyer who holds a JD from the University of Ottawa Faculty of Law, and an MA from the Norman Paterson School of International Affairs of Carleton University. She completed her articles at Sack Goldblatt Mitchell LLP, primarily working in the areas of public interest litigation, human rights, and labour law. She has a broad range of experience and has done legal human rights-focused work in various contexts and jurisdictions, including while working at the Human Rights Research and Education Centre of uOttawa, the Canadian Centre for International Justice, Amnesty International, and the Rabinal Community Legal Clinic in Guatemala.
